He

He is now 11 months old.
He is wearing size 12-18 months clothing and size 4 pampers diapers.
He is wearing size 4-5 shoes.
He has eight teeth but has several more working on coming in.
He loves being outside and would stay out all day if you would let him.
He loves anything with wheels.
He is a thinker.
His favorite book right now is Digger Man.
He is starting to want more table food and wants to try what ever you are eating.
When we have been outside lately he always heads towards the mud puddles.
He enjoys playing ball with big brother Kyle.
He eats Nutragrain breakfast bars and recently tried fish and loved it.
He hates getting his diaper changed.
He will give you "Five" now.
He has more energy than his mother and it is getting hard for her to keep up with him.
He has called several people on the phone by accident of course, like Gramma, Krystal and Gramps.
He loves to "help" with the laundry, thus folding clean clothes from the dryer is a challenge.
We can tell already how smart he is.
We can't believe how fast 11 months has gone.

The Past Month

Oh how quickly the past month has gone. I have been so busy that I have had little time to blog, facebook or even check emails.
Kyle has gotten his pigs for fair. He is excited and hoping that they will do well this year.

Kaleb is enjoying getting outside. He is a true farm boy just like his dad. He found one of Kenton's old toy tractors when we were cleaning out the garage and started right away playing with it.
He turned 11 months and I hope I get get a post up about that in the next few days. He enjoys spending time with his big brother even if it is sleeping.
We spent Easter at the Norris House with Kenton's family. Kaleb loved the Easter Egg Hunting.

It just happened to be Jessica's 18th Birthday also. I have an 18 year old! Still finding that hard to believe. She graduates from High School in just a week. It seems like just yesterday I took her to her first day of pre-school.
We will be busy this week preparing for graduation and her party. So exciting!

Prom 2011

I took lots of photos this past weekend at Jessica's Prom, probably over 150 all together. Before I show them I must remind everyone that 1. Photography is just a hobby I have and a wonderful tool I use to document our lives. 2. I am trying to learn on my own, both photography and photoshop(thus the sometimes out of focus or blurring shots and or weird editing.) 3. I have little time at the computer with our little guy around, thus little time to work with photos, but I do the best I can. We got her dress a couple months back. The first one she tried on, fit like and glove and was actually long enough which is an amazing deal when you are 6 foot tall.
We took some pictures with her friends before the Prom. Here is Jess and Hailey.

This is her date, Jason. He is a friend of Jess' from school and such a nice guy.
This is one of Jessica's good friends, Troy, who I have shown pictures of before on the blog. He participates in lots the speech and theater productions with Jessica. His family also goes to our church. He and Jess took a picture like this last year on the same sidewalk and felt they needed to have another. It is almost exactly like last years picture just different outfits.

Taking pictures of teenagers who are involved with plays and drama is a lot of fun! They enjoy being in front of the camera and had me laughing so hard. This last one is a favorite of Troy.

Jessica had a great Senior Prom. She came home early Sunday morning tired. So was I.

I think we captured some great memories though and for me that makes it all worth it.

Thanks for looking!

He

He is now 10 months old.
He loves the little cheeto baby snacks.
He loves them so much he makes noises like "mmm", when eating them.
He is wearing size 12 months clothing and is still in a size 4 shoe.
I haven't weighed or measured him this month yet.
He is down to 4 bottles a day and eats baby food three times a day plus some snacks. He has 7 teeth and hates it when we try to brush them.
He climbed out of the crib the other morning so we had to lower the mattress.
His favorite place to sleep is still not only with Mommy but on top of her.
He loves being outside.
He likes to watch the Good Night Show on Sprout TV in the evenings.
His favorite toys right now are a little tractor and a top that we brought home from Grandma Johnson's house a few years back.
Here are just a few of the pictures we had taken by Miles and Me Photography. They did an awesome job.
The hat is one we got from Old Navy. It is one of the few he will leave on his head. Reminds we me need to order a bigger one soon. Busy weekend. Busy times right now. I will continue to post when I can.

What is Going On Around Here

Around here we are impatiently waiting for Spring in more ways than one.

Around here we have a Little Tike's "Climb and Slide" in our living room.

We are almost done with calving season, with only about 16 more to go.

We took Kaleb to the pasture tonight to see the calves. He pokes his head out the window as we drive through the pasture and was giggling everytime he saw the baby calves running.

Jessica made it to All State Speech Competition with her literary program. A highlight for the year for her. We are so proud.

Kyle is getting ready to get his 4-H pigs next week.

Kaleb discovered the magic of the kleenex box, and how every time you pull one out another one comes up. Kenton and I had so much fun watching him that we let him pull them all out.

We have only about 7 weeks until Jessica graduates. Between now and then we have prom and her birthday. We are starting planning for her party. Hoping to get started on cleaning out the garage this weekend.

Planning on putting Kaleb's Easter pictures on the blog here this weekend if time allows.

He

He is now 9 months old.
He is about 28 inches long.
He weighs 21 pounds.
He is wearing 9-12 months clothing.
He is wearing size 4-5 shoes.
He has 6 teeth but has a few more trying to come in.
He is walking now, everywhere, and thinks he can run already, thus he falls down quite a bit.
He is taking 8 oz. of formula, about 28-32 ounces a day.
He loves to feed himself finger foods like his puff snacks or little pieces of banana.
He has his first real cold right now and Mommy had to stay home with him today because he had a fever and was miserable.
He doesn't like sleeping in his own bed.
He loves read books with Mommy and when I tell him to go get a book he does.
He likes to play ball.
Kenton and I both think we heard him say "Kitty-kitty" the other night.
Tomorrow we are going to get Easter pictures taken with real bunnies and baby chicks, that is if he is feeling up to it.

By the way, today is Kenton and my Anniversary. 11 years! We have both been busy with babies all day so didn't celebrate. While I was taking care of little Kaleb, Kenton has been out with the cattle all day. 8 new babies today! Here are a few pictures from a couple of weeks ago.
